They gave me a bit of a look, and not surprising when it turns out there was a mini clutch of eggs already.
The odd thing is the completely different size in eggs. Fairly sure there is only one bird laying, as Capt Speck is only interested in the one, but three eggs are huge, and two are a bit bigger than a large hens egg.
Maybe, as with hens, ducks have a few wobblies when they first come into lay. Maybe the big eggs are double yolkers? or maybe the small ones are little practise eggs? I really want to take the wrong ones away as we wont want her trying to hatch them.
Only I don’t know which. Hoping someone with better knowledge will enlighten me soon..
