I’m a couple of weeks earlier than last year, but the sun is shining, it is July – time for a tour:
Lean to greenhouse, with tomatoes, melon, lettuce, spring onions, basil, salad leaves and chillies.
bed 9: woad, purple podded peas, sweetcorn, cucumbers, and limka beans
the fruit bed, with black currants and the gaps filled with courgettes.. bit small at the mo.. hoping they will catch up.
raspberry patch – loosely netted, and that is making a lot of difference. Bit wild in there.. should weed and make all tidy, but we are still getting loads of raspberries.

bed 8: mange tout, savoy cabbages, peas, celery, runner beans and spinach
bed 1: broad beans, peas, more peas
bed 2 – beans! – limka, climbing borlotti, climbing purple French, lazy housewife and pea beans.
bed 3: crown prince squash, spaghetti squash, and baby sweetcorn.
bed4: peas, more peas, leeks, beetroot and failed parsnips
bed 5: cabbages, red cabbage, spring cabbage, calabrese (whats left of them) and *cough* weeds. must get the hoe out.
bed 6 spuds: pink fir apple, international kidney, and sharpes express. Really good this year.
