Yes the sheep have been sheared and we have a king size duvet cover full of wool lurking in the shed.
Normally it takes several attempts with rain causing reschedules, but this time fairly easy. Of course it has gone cold now.. but they have the shelter with a nice layer of straw.
Betty is looking good, and her earlier thinness seems to have gone. She is still pretty lean, but I think that might be the Zwartbles side of her. That, of course, has added problems to deciding who we are keeping ….
She looks like a mini cow, now she is back to lean and black and white.

You beat me to it – my first thought was that Betty was a cow-sheep hybrid chimera type animal!! They all look good, you have a good shearer there.
yeh he does do a good job and is kind to the sheep
Our local sheep are still shivering under layers of fleece – not getting nekkid yet still to cool
Shearer is booked for Tuesday here, middle-younger-sister and mother have done a few but then our shears went pop, literally!
oops – hope you dont have a half sheared sheep wandering around
