We like evening beach trips – never over crowded.. most of the holiday makers are leaving when we arrive. We have a picnic tea.. paddle.. swim even if the water temperature gets up to bearable, and the water is at its warmest at the end of the day, especially if it has just come in over a hot beach.
Wembury is a great beach. Rocks to scramble around, sand, rocks and shells and nice easy rockpools. Oh and great view.
Planned this trip in advance to entice the rain gods.. but it didn’t work…
