We collected the latest lambskins from the lovely people at Devonia yesterday. They are so friendly and helpful, and we are really pleased with the latest ones.
We had an idea of what to expect with the white ones, as we already have one Devon closewoolx polled Dorset rug, but the ‘black’ one – which is a zwartblesxsuffolkxroussin.. black wool underneath and sun bleached to brown…. I’m really pleased it came out the lovely chocolate brown – darker when you dig deep, and so soft.
So we probably have enough lamb skins now – we have one on each sofa, and one each. We’ll probably do more though.
We each took ours for use – mine beside my bed for bare toed snugglyness, my son followed suit, and himself has his under his desk for wrapping around his feet and legs when he is working from home. That is, when the cat lets him have it back.
They look gorgeous! I’ve got a lambskin on my “office” chair now that the weather has cooled down. It’s very effective at keeping me warm whilst I’m sedentary in the evenings.
thanks! – sheepskin is so lovely and warm…
The boys had lambskins in their cots and whilst Ben’s fell to pieces, Tom’s is still lovely. He has it on his floor and will often still sleep on it (on the floor!)
