Turned out to be a sunny day – so the forecasters were wrong.. but we don’t mind!
A long and good day, of digging and weeding, planting potatoes, visiting and trying version one of my simnel cake on extended family, fencing the pig run, eating homemade pork and egg pie, sowing yet more peas, gate hanging, planting out mange tout plants, and eating hot cross buns.
I’m tired now, but in a good, productive, achieving things sort of way.
