Everything seems so much brighter when the sun shines, and today was the first outdoors lunch of the year.
Today, himself did some digging and cleared out the last of compost heap one into the greenhouse, whilst I finally started some seed sowing – broad beans and lemon grass so far.
We spent a bit of time cutting back the hedge in the greenlane – as the plants are beginning to think about budding.. birds are chasing each other around and singing their territory songs.. the hedging window is definitely closing.
With the usual weekend chores – cleaning out the hen house etc, and watching the ewes who have no intention of lambing, the day went so fast, and we did nothing towards the big pig plan….
nevermind, everything seem so much more possible when the sun shines…
