The cabling was interesting but not tricky (apart from the yarn is very slippery, and I don’t have a cable needle.. used a spare dpn needle…), and the main body of the hat a doddle, I did it in the one evening, chatting with others round the kitchen table. It needs blocking really, not sure I will get around to it.
this limiting myself to only 5 knitting projects at a time is really working, although at the weekend it caused amusement that I could no just work on one at a time, and finish it before starting another. Guess not everyone has low attention span for knitting projects… anyway, next project, regia yarn socks.
