no not me- but our buff leghorn hen has given us an egg every day for the past three weeks, once she started laying again after rearing her brood, and is now sitting again. Is it too soon after the last batch? I am inclined to think not, as she has regained her health, and was healthy enough to lay, and I figure if she is sitting, perhaps she knows…
So, I have enquired about getting some more fertile eggs, and we moved her from her chosen spot into the broody coup, on the one egg we left with her (have chucked her off the last couple of days, until we were sure). Much fussing and fluffing up later, she went inside and settled down on the egg, and was last seen sitting tight. Hope to get some eggs soon, and start it all over again.
