Today we went up onto the moors, to visit a favourite place of mine, Merrivale, where there is a prehistoric stone row.

After hearing so much about them, I decided to try out the recipe on the creative living forum for ‘hobnobs’.

Decided today that the grass is just too short, and our ewes need a bit of extra feed. This assessing their score and adjusting their feed is a difficult thing to decide..

We’ve had some strange egg laying these last few days, but this is typical of chickens at the beginning or end of their laying days.
