foiled lambing experience

I had arranged to go and help with a small flock during lambing. Giving me hands on experience, a month before our own are due,  and they were going to call me day or night, so I could rush over and join in.  Good plan eh?  apart from the ewes had other ideas.

They all managed to lamb on their own.  Well, that’s just the lambing event I want from my ewes, and its the way nature intended etc..  so it’s great for them, but means I don’t get that extra experience.  Ten lambs!  ten - from six ewes. Some of which were maidens.  One was triplets, two lots of twins… and none needing a helping hand..
