Ham trimmings are cubed and frozen, the bone boiled for hours and the stock set aside for pea soup.
The turkey taken apart and the traditional turkey curry consumed, and the carcase boiled for soup and stew. 
Chestnut stuffing was wizzed and shaped into burgers and frozen for another day.

I admire those that have bumped off their own turkey/goose/ chicken for Christmas dinner. We are a long way away from providing that much by ourselves, but then I realised we did do a reasonable amount.

boxing day brings our annual mummers play down at the pub, where we meet with friends dressed up in fancy dress put together at the last minute, to act out a mummers play.  Then we follow with playing music.  Tis proper.. keeping traditions and making our own entertainment..
