Putting together an ‘advent calendar’ for our son now, and only have until Saturday to get it together! - This year we are going to use the little boxes I like making out of old Christmas cards, and is not so much a calendar as a heap of 24 little boxes, which he can open in random order.
Each one has a chocolate or teeny toy, silly paper hat, bad joke etc mostly handmade - nothing expensive, just a bit fun.
Twelve made so far.. another twelve to go. Just as well I kept nice square cards from previous Christmases.. I mentioned being a hoarder already huh?
